Description
McCarthy 1968 presidential campaign. Foreground of the photograph shows four African-American supporters from the back, looking towards the field. One man wears a jacket that reads "Riverside Church". The back of the photograph is stamped with a photographer stamp and has a typed strip of paper adhered to it that reads "June 17, 1968. People of N.Y. City Meet Sen . Eugen (sic) Mc. (sic) Cathy at Lewisohn Stadium." The 'r' in Carthy appears to have been added with ink (handwritten).
