Program host Karlton Howard introduces the program and presents a performance by Flo Carter and the Sounds of Joy--Program co-host Frank Brown introduces the group "Restored" who performs the song "To Be Like Jesus"--Frank Brown presents local announcements from the control booth of the Parade of Quartets program studio and introduces a Sunday School lesson with William Blount, pastor of the Greater Young Zion Missionary Baptist Church, whose lesson is about the misuse of power--Karlton Howard speaks from the Bell Auditorium in Augusta, Georgia, where gospel singer Kirk Franklin is leading a workshop and introduces a performance by the singer--Pastor William Blount speaks about the history and mission of the Greater Young Zion Missionary Baptist Church--Program co-host Alicia Butler Brown speaks to Miss Kearse and Mr. Liggins from the Rehoboth Restoration Temple in Burnettown, South Carolina, who run a summer camp program--Karlton Howard speaks to Tenaris Hendricks of the Broadway Baptist Church about a contest held recently at the church.
