Robert and Sadye Wier, married in 1932.Personal papers, correspondence, business records, clippings, photographs, extensive scrapbooks, oral histories, literary manuscripts, reminiscences and other materials concerning Robert Wier (1886-1974) and his wife Sadye Hunter Wier. Robert Wier, who operated and owned the City Barber Shop in Starkville, was the first and only black to have a business on Main Street.
