Description
This resolution, from the Connecticut House of Representatives, states that they consider the subject of domestic slavery in the Southern states is within the control of those States and that the federal government, or other States, should not interfere with their respective internal policies. They aver that such interference would be a direct violation of the rights of the States, as well as the Constitution of the United States.
