A view of construction of the Chinese Village from the northwest. Workmen from Burke Bros. Builders, Boston, continue construction of the Chinese Village concession on the Pike for the Louisiana Purchase Exposition -- the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. Sponsored by an association of Chinese merchants from Philadelphia, the village offered shops, two restaurants, and a theater for Chinese drama. No. 3685.
