Part of the Gordon McCann Ozarks Folk Music Collection at Missouri State University's Special Collections and Archives. This recording includes tape 3. Though the title of this series of tapes lists Westmorland, Blanton, and Koonce, McCann's notes state that this is actually the Emmanuel Wood's Ozark Opry held in Ozark, Missouri. The Emanuel Wood's Ozark Opry took place on the square in Ozark, Missouri. The musicians would sit in a circle in the front of a large empty storefront and play. Emmanuel Wood- fiddle 1. "Marmaduke's Hornpipe" (in the key of D) 2. "Arkansas Traveler" (in D) 3. "Light House" (in D) Emmanuel Wood- banjo 4. "Green Corn" (in C) Emmanuel Wood- fiddle 5: "Green Valley Waltz" (in D) According to Gordon McCann's notes, the next part was recorded in Art Galbraith's home. Art Galbraith- fiddle 1."Dixie Blossoms" (in G) 2. "Dubuque's Hornpipe" (in D) 3. "Lady's Fancy" (in D) 4. "Paddy on the Turnpike" (in G) The notes do not say whether or not the location of this recording has changed. Jacob Lafayette "Fate" Van Hooser: Webster County, Missouri. 1.
