Description

Photograph was edited for publication purposes.Photograph caption dated March 17, 1956 reads, "Ageless Archie Moore, the world light heavyweight boxing champion, trots his pugilistic wares out into the public eye again tonight when fights Frankie Daniels in a Hollywood Legion Stadium main bout expected to draw a $12,000 house tonight." Photograph article partially reads, "At 39 years old, he says, Moore remains the marvel of the prize ring. The San Diego mittster is now in his 21st year as pro campaigner. Daniels figures as more than a workout for Moore, who is 13 years Frankie's senior. A former California light heavyweight titlist and a meber [sic] of the 1948 Olympic Games boxing team, Daniels has the speed to make Arch hustle."
