Holograph, signed with initials.George Thompson had a narrow escape in Concord. William Lloyd Garrison advises that for the time being "we had better not attempt to lecture." Garrison thinks that "our first public meeting in Boston ought to be with reference, exclusively, to the abolition of slavery in the District of Columbia."Merrill, Walter M.
