Pages of notes taken by Knox College Professor of Sociology, J. Howell Atwood from an interview with G. G. Fletcher. These notes are about the presence of physicians and medical personnel serving the African American community in Galesburg, Illinois during the early part of the 20th century. Atwood conducted extensive research from 1930-1960 about the Galesburg African American community.
