The National Conference of Artists supports African American art and culture. On the day of Patterson's lecture, it also held workshops at the Neighborhood Arts Center in silkscreen, portfolios, audio-visual art, health hazards, and "Afro-Raku" ceramic firing.Title provided by Jim Alexander.
