What Happens?

Description

A pamphlet from the Indiana Civil Rights Commission from 1967. It answers the question 'what happens when a Negro family moves next to a White family', through the results of a 1966 survey of 1158 families on 476 mixed blocks in 42 Indiana cities. The survey documents the reactions of residents on their experiences of having neighbors of a different race. Includes a summary of Indiana desegregation laws, updated through 1967.
