Description
FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover asking for information on meeting with NAACP and City Commission leaders about Bi-racial Committee. NAACP questioned why blacks were banned from certain facilities. Commissioners stated this was a misunderstanding and that all city facilities were desegregated. Commissioners also stated city jobs are open to application regardless of race. Conclusion of the meeting was that there was no need for a Bi-racial Committee.
