Description
Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.Manuscript composed upon stationary bearing the typeset letterhead of the "Freedmen's Relief Association, No. 424 Walnut Street, Philadelphia."James Miller M'Kim forwards an undisclosed sum of money to William Lloyd Garrison, which he directs Garrison to hand over to George Thompson. M'Kim informs Garrison that he has yet to learn of how the meeting of the Women's Loyal League went. M'Kim comments gingerly on the developing rivalry between Garrison and Wendell Phillips within the American Anti-Slavery Society.
