Manuscript, signed.This letter does not appear to be entirely in the hand of Samuel May.Title supplied by cataloger.May writes again after conferring with William Lloyd Garrison about Mrs. Gibbon's problems. He reports that Garrison urges supporting the fugitive slave cause, immediately holding the New York Anti-Slavery Fair, and forming a Vigilance Committee from various independent anti-slavery organizations. He mentions Albany, Syracuse, and Rochester as stations on the Underground Railroad.
