Description
This photograph shows the Ebenezer Baptist Church sign in downtown Atlanta, Georgia, flanked by a banner commemorating Martin Luther King Jr. Day in 2000. The church, in which King was ordained and from which he conducted many of his civil rights campaigns in the 1950s and 1960s, is now preserved as part of the Martin Luther King Jr. Historic Site.
