This folder contains materials collected by Wally Swan and Lyle Rossman, Swan's partner of twenty four years. Wally Swan ran for a number of public office positions including The Minneapolis Library Board, Minnesota Treasurer, and the Minneapolis Board of Estimation and Taxation, which he won. He is currently an adjunct professor at three institutions and an accomplished author and editor and has published several books. He is also a patron of the artsa and was involved with the Penumbra Theater in St. Paul, Minnesota. This folder has materials related to the March on Washington for Lesbian, Gay and Bi Equal Rights and Liberation, a political rally that brought an estimated 1,000,000 LGBTQ people to Washington, D.C. on April 25, 1993.
