Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.J. Elizabeth Jones writes William Lloyd Garrison in her capacity as the Corresponding Secretary of the Western Anti-Slavery Society, inviting him at the behest of the Executive Committee to their anniversary meeting to take place that October. Jones states that the meeting was postponed until autumn to better the "probability of securing [Garrison's] attendance". Jones states that they will ascertain first the precise timing of the Pennsylvania Anti-Slavery Society's anniversary meeting so as to not present any scheduling conflicts for Garrison.
