Description

Letter of Micajah Williamson to Governor John Martin relating to the six "plundered Negroes" he secured on his recent incursion into the western North Carolina mountains. Three were property of Mr. Perry of Wilkes County, the other three, held in custody by sheriff of Washington Co., N.C., of Tory Major Henry Wilkes of Wilkes County. He asks consideration that one of the Negroes be given to Captain Francis Prince for his aid. Signed Micajah Williamson
