Description
Open letter from J. C. Pritchard, Marshall, N.C., to Hon. F. M. Simmons, Raleigh, N.C. , reprinted from the Asheville Daily Gazette, in response to Simmons' accusation that Pritchard denies the presence of Negro political domination in parts of North Carolina. Pritchard argues that Negro domination does not occur only under the Republicans, and lists the names and offices of many Negro officials elected when the Democrats were in power.
