Description

Tom Sullivan discusses his autobiography, “Seeing Lessons.” He begins by explaining that he was born blind because of complications during childbirth at the hospital. He talks about being isolated as a child, and how he made his first friend. He describes what it was like to meet Martin Luther King Jr. who encouraged him to make music. Sullivan talks about how he goes skiing with his daughter and she guides him with her voice. He ends the interview by discussing how he starts each chapter of the book with a personal story of his, and then teaches people how they can relate it to their lives.
