Facsimile of a one page proclamation by James Wright, Commander in Chief of the Georgia Province, announcing a treaty with the Creek and Cherokee Indians following a congress at Augusta. It details the land now managed by Georgia, and mentions that a fort will be built to protect settlers and maintain order.
