Description

A family, picnicking on snack foods and sitting on a blanket, readies for the annual July 4th celebration and fireworks event at Warner Park - where residents of the west Valley gather. Numerous others can be seen with their folding chairs all facing the same way - toward the camera. Warner Park is located next to the Warner Center, a development that was named for its former owner, Harry Warner of Warner Bros. Pictures. Warner Park is also the site of the Valley's "Concerts in the Park" series, which showcases everything from folk and rock to jazz and big band music.
