Description

Lillian Holland Harvey received a diploma from the Lincoln School for Nurses in New York, New York. She was Director of Nurse Training at the John A. Andrew Hospital, Tuskegee University in 1944 until 1973. Under her leadership she established the first baccalaureate degree program in nursing in the State of Alabama in 1953. She was elected to the Alabama Healthcare Hall of Fame in 1999.
