Elliot, and a dance, the MDA Superdance to raise money for MDA, the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The yearbook also contains photos of national and state news, an introduction of February as being UNCG’s Black History Month that featured guest Maya Angelou for the University Concert/Lecture series, an article and photos of EUC’s 30th anniversary that included a visit from guest Red Skelton, an article about UNCG’s Spartan soccer team winning the National Championship in the 1982 season, and an article on Commencement and alumni involvement, as well as a copy of the Commencement Address.
