Phelps about the annual meeting of the "Young Men’s Society" where new officers of the organization were chosen. He also informs Phelps about the New England Anti-Slavery Society’s upcoming meeting in September, and gives a list of speakers for the occasion. He then discusses distribution of the “Maryland Scheme” ([a circular against the claims of the Maryland State Colonization Society]). Finally, he says the executive Committee of the American Anti-Slavery Society acceded to Phelps’s “plan of cooperation” with an additional provision proposed, and that the Board of Managers of the New England Society acceded to this provision.
