Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.Manuscript annotated on recto, with "Acknowledged." in black ink on top-left of page, and "94" in pencil beneath Whittier's salutation to Garrison.John Greenleaf Whittier sends to William Lloyd Garrison the sum of $15 in support of the "emigrant freedmen", from himself and Elijah Elliott, and expresses his hope that these funds will aid them in their "Providential Exodus".
