Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) manuscript composed on blue sheet of paper with a checkmark and the number "26" written in pencil by the head- spine corner. The head- fore corner had been torn off but was repaired from the back of the page. Next to the salutation, there is a blue oval stamp with the words "Garrison MSS." included in the oval. Along the spine edge, there is a large brown spot streaking over the bottom lines of the page.Edmund Quincy writes to William Lloyd Garrison to offer an obituary (not included) he wrote for Daniel Gregg, an early subscriber to the Liberator. He also asks Garrison for suggestions for editorials, claiming he has "used up all you have given me."
