Description
Portrait of Dr. Thomas E. Miller, the First President of SC State, Served From 1896-1911. Under His Administration, the First Major Structure On the University's Campus Was Constructed, Bradham Hall, Which Opened In September 27, 1896. Bradham Hall Served as a Dormitory For Men and Women and Contained the President Office, Classrooms, a Chapel, Dining Hall and the Accountants' Office. the Edifice Was Later Destroyed by a Fire In 1909. Miller Served as a South Carolina Congressman and Served In The South Carolina House of Representatives From 1876-1879.
