Louisa Thompson Nosworthy writes William Lloyd Garrison on the behalf of her father, whom she relays is "much affected" at Garrison's departure for the United States. Describing herself as a "sister spiritualist", Nosworthy asserts her certainty that Garrison will be happy in this world and "in the brighter world where we hope to meet"
