Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) manuscript composed in black ink of white paper. In the top left side of the letter, there is the number "36" written in pencil. There is also an embossed stamp with the letters "P.S.&C."E. Whitney writes to Amos A. Phelps appointing him as representative of the American Society for the Promotion of Christian Morals and asks him to attend on their behalf in Engalnd at the London Sabbath Protection Society. He writes, "Any Service you can render us in this holy cause will be gratefully acknowledged."
