Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.Letter contains an engraving by Harwoods of a woman dipping her quill into an ink jar that contains a batlike face at the bottom.Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) manuscript contains a purple postmarked stamp "Garrison Mss."George Thompson writes to Richard Davis Webb thanking him for sending the books and tracts on India. He will continue to update him on the League in India and send his introduction to the book. He has not been able to write to his friends due to having so many calls upon him. He speaks of his upcoming travels to Southampton and returning to London for the delegate meeting.
